What are the inputs?
All three major Mic inputs are supported (Combination XLR / 1/4" Mic Input, 1/8" (3.5 mm) Line Input (3.5 mm)).
Can you use more than one Mic at a time?
There are two Mic inputs each with its own level control and they can be used at the same time ( IE a speaker and an audience response microphone).
What is the Line Out jack?
GoSpeak! Pro features a 1/8" (3.5 mm) line level output for either recording the presentation or for daisy chaining to another GoSpeak Pro, etc..
What is the Line In Jack Used for?
GoSpeak! Pro's line input can be used to amplify a DVD Player, Computer Output, iPod, etc. or from the output of the Line Out Jack from another GoSpeak! Pro to string multiple units together for larger venues.
Does the device have RCA inputs or outputs?
No, but RCA to 1/8" and 1/4" cables can be used to convert to and from RCA. These cables can be found at most major electronics stores (including radio shack)....
Can I use GoSpeak Pro in other countries?
Yes. GoSpeak! Pro comes with a standard US plug, can it be used in another country.The device automatically converts voltages from 100 V to 240 V and both 50 and 60 Hz power sources. A simple adapter that allows the GoSpeak! Pro to be plugged in is all that is needed, not voltage changer is required.
What are the differences between the original GoSpeak! and the GoSpeak! Pro?
The GoSpeak! Pro has two microphone inputs (1/8" 1/4" and XLR) instead of one (1/8").
GoSpeak! Pro features volume gain control for all inputs (Master, Line In, Mic 1 and Mic 2) instead of just two (Master and Line In).
GoSpeak!! Pro has an internal power supply instead of a using a Power Adapter..
What are the technical specifications of GoSpeak! Pro?
GoSpeak Pro technical specifications include:
- Amplification: 40 watts / Frequency response: (100Hz - 200Khz±3db)
- Line input sensitivity: (1Vp-p), line impedance (50K ohm)
- Microphone input sensitivity (-64db±1db, 0 db=1V/pa)
- Connections (Microphone #1: XLR and 1/4 inch) (Microphone #2: 1/8 inch), (line input: 1/8 inch mono), (line output: 1/8 inch stereo).
